The end of the year marks another milestone for WSC: the inauguration of our new logistics centre in La Louvière - Garocentre. This state-of-the-art facility, which extends over 55,000 m² in two sections, is strategically located at the heart of the multimodal Garocentre site.

Our modern complex is proof of two important commitments. Firstly, it significantly improves our logistical capabilities and strengthens our position in the industry. Secondly, it is an essential driver for local employment, as it will create 250 jobs over the next one to two years. Its strategic location - close to motorways, canals and railways - optimises our capacity for efficient and diverse logistics activities.

To further emphasise our commitment to sustainability, the hall has 7,500 solar panels generating 7.5 megawatts annually, LED lighting and rainwater collection systems. These efforts have led to the prestigious BREEAM Excellent certification for the building. The upcoming addition of an industrial battery farm will further strengthen our sustainable energy initiatives.

This significant development strengthens the Garocentre site and is essential for sustainable logistics and regional economic development. We are proud to end the year with such a remarkable milestone.
