A strong Belgian logistics player with more than 60 years of expertise, Weerts Supply Chain (WSC) provides integrated transport, warehousing and value-added logistics solutions. As part of the transformation of our financial and operational processes, we are looking for a Finance Project Manager capable of connecting Finance, IT and Operations.
Your mission
You lead projects aimed at improving financial processes, reporting and system integrations in a logistics environment. You work closely with the Accounting, Controlling, IT and Operations teams to optimize the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, streamline connections with WMS/TMS systems and turn reporting, automation and artificial intelligence initiatives into concrete solutions.
Your role goes beyond coordination: you translate business needs into concrete, measurable and secure solutions that are genuinely adopted by users.
Your responsibilities
- Lead transformation projects related to Business Central, system integrations and the automation of Finance processes.
- Build business cases, project plans and roadmaps by defining the scope, timeline, risks, budget, resources and expected benefits.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders across Accounting, Controlling, Operations and IT; facilitate working groups and ensure transparent follow-up of decisions and actions.
- Analyze existing processes, identify quick wins and design simpler, more reliable and efficient processes.
- Coordinate the implementation and testing of Business Central developments, add-ons and interfaces with WMS/TMS systems.
- Support change management by preparing training, support materials, procedures and the assistance required for go-live.
- Define KPIs to measure project impact: time savings, error reduction, data quality and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate external suppliers and consultants when their expertise is required.
AI supporting Finance
- Identify and prioritize concrete use cases, such as invoice processing automation, anomaly detection or automated reconciliation.
- Develop pilot projects into solutions that can be used in production, in collaboration with IT.
- Ensure reliable data flows, secure API connections and controlled integration within the existing ERP ecosystem.
- Implement the necessary data quality and data governance rules to support reliable models, in line with Weerts Group security procedures.
- Provide the necessary performance monitoring, explainability and fallback scenarios.
- Ensure privacy, transparency and compliance when using artificial intelligence solutions.
Your profile
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in project management within Finance or Business Controlling.
- You have worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system.
- You understand logistics processes and interactions with WMS/TMS systems.
- You combine analytical skills, a structured mindset, results orientation and pragmatism.
- You know how to bring together different stakeholders and support change through to the day-to-day use of new solutions.
- You communicate fluently in French and English.
- You are proficient in advanced Excel models and/or Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain is a strong asset.
